Truly enjoyed our great quality and extremely pleasant rooms.
Everything was modern, magnificent location close enough to all of the Hawkes Bay attractions yet far enough removed to enjoy the country quiet, the staff were excellent. Booked a room with lovely views of the nearby mountains. We had a shared bathroom...

This hotel is an absolute gem in terms of value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the level of service provided. The location is also perfect, as it is very close to the town center and the Havelock North shops, but at the same time, it feels like a world away. The rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and basic amenities such as air conditioning and a well-stocked library. I particularly enjoyed the fireplace overlooking the pond, which added a cozy and romantic touch to the room. Additionally, breakfast was provided and it was a real treat, with an emphasis on local quality produce that was absolutely delicious.

During our recent city break, we enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and fresh fruit that were offered daily. the location of the accommodation was perfect, being close to local attractions but far enough away to provide a peaceful escape. We also loved the outdoor facilities, especially the stunning garden and hot tub.
The rooms were not as clean as we would have hoped and the staff did not seem as attentive as we would have liked. the noise from other guests was quite disruptive, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

What a beautiful and peaceful spot to call home for our city break. The gardens were stunning and well cared for. The communal living room was spacious, perfect for relaxing in with a good book. We loved the undercover outdoor eating area. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing suggestions for places to visit and eat. We enjoyed cycling around and exploring the surrounding area.
We had to settle for a smaller room as we booked last minute, but it was still clean and comfortable. There were no en-suite facilities, which was a little inconvenient, but we managed just fine.
